As noted by the market, Win, Bestec, EMC, and Sysgration are believed to be the suppliers for the Starlink project. In the future, they should seize business opening opportunities in the aerospace market and further capitalize upon market opportunities, becoming the center of attention from external players. Win is a supplier of power amplifiers (PAs), and is currently supplying SpaceX with various hardware devices for the Starlink project. Given that its annual shipments are due to grow in continuum, it has become one of SpaceX's most important suppliers. In addition, Win’s future growth momentum will mainly come from 5G, WiFi 6, 5G infrastructure, and optical communication and sensing (3D sensing). As indicated by Win, its new capacity will be on its list in the third quarter. Bestec’s revenue in the second quarter reached NT$1.143 billion, with an annual increase of 12.7% and quarterly increase of 30.4%, among which, the proportion of servers accounts for 30%, sports equipment accounted for around 10%, mobile phone products 30%, and auto parts and others 30% in the second quarter. In addition to strong shipments for sports equipment, Bestec has, for the first time, penetrated the supply chain for major Korean mobile phone manufacturers this year. At present, samples of relevant mechanical parts have been formally delivered, and it is expected that shipments should begin in the fourth quarter. It has also obtained the cooling module for controllers used on white-color electric appliances of Korean customers, thereby extending the product into new areas. EMC is seen as a member among the concept stocks of the Starlink Project as it has mainly worked with a PCB manufacturer, Compeq, to supply materials. Since aerospace applications are still at the early stages, the primary applications of EMC remain with handheld terminals. EMC’s accumulated revenue for the first seven months this year reached NT$14.479 billion; an annual increase of 8%. In coping with the growth of customer demands, EMC is scheduled to further release 300,000 units of new production capacity at the Huangshi plant in China in the third quarter, while it will also evaluate its expansion plan at Kunshan. Sysgration indicated that it has already begun to ship its satellite power system, though the amount is not significant. However, when SpaceX releases the Starlink project in the future, it is expected to launch 42,000 low-orbit satellites, with follow-up business opportunities on the horizon. Furthermore, Sysgration has been working in power systems for a long time, and it will continue to develop high-tech power system products, including energy storage systems and power supplies, to open up new business opportunities.
