The International Monetary Fund(IMF) has foreseen a steep fall in international growth as the global economy struggles to recover from the pandemic-induced recession; hence estimated that the global economy will shrink 4.4% for 2020, which would be the worst annual plunge since the Great Depression of the 1930. Months into a global pandemic, the way people work has changed dramatically—and continues to evolve as the COVID-19 crisis goes on. Leaders at all levels around the world are being asked to do things differently. How will we work, live and thrive in the post-pandemic future?
Though the Taiwan PCB industry continues to achieve positive growth in 2020 benefited from the 5G construction and the thriving of semiconductor. Looking ahead to 2021, high-end applications such as 5G, AI, and edge computing are expected to promote the continued growth of the electronics industry.
