Flash News|Opening Ceremony & Chairman's Address
The 27th Taiwan Printed Circuit Board International Exhibition (TPCA Show 2026) opened on October 20 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. It is the PCB industry’s most anticipated event of the year.
TPCA Chairman Lawrence Chang opened the ceremony before a full house. He said AI is rewriting the rules of the electronics supply chain, and that Taiwan’s PCB industry has transformed its role: “We are no longer just hardware manufacturers. We are key partners in shaping and defining AI hardware specifications.” He added that this year’s record-breaking scale reflects the global supply chain’s strong confidence in Taiwan’s PCB industry.

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim praised Taiwan’s world-leading semiconductor strength and the most complete PCB supply chain in the world. She noted that every breakthrough in advanced packaging, data centers and high-performance computing depends on PCBs. Close collaboration between the semiconductor and PCB industries, she said, is key to seizing the AI opportunity and to building Taiwan’s “Five Trusted Industries.” She pledged continued government support in energy transition and talent development as the industry moves from supply chain to ecosystem.
Vice President Hsiao and Chairman Chang led the ribbon-cutting. They were joined by leaders from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, ZDT, Unimicron, Kinsus, Nan Ya PCB, ITRI, TEEMA, TAIROA, TPCF and IMPACT, along with TPCA Vice Chairmen, WECC partners and academic representatives. The guests then toured the show floor and engaged with exhibitors on the latest technologies.
Themed “Energy-Efficient AI: From Computing to Systems and Applications,” this year’s show spans eight zones across Halls 1F and 4F, and exhibition highlight ''Advanced Packaging.''

More than 680 leading international brands are exhibiting across 1,840 booths, and over 70,000 professional buyers are expected during the three-day show.
The new Advanced Packaging Pavilion, launched in response to strong market demand, drew engineers and buyers from Taiwan and abroad on opening day. The busy technical discussions there highlighted Taiwan’s momentum in core AI hardware manufacturing.
TPCA sincerely thanks all members, exhibitors and industry partners for their support. Over the next two days, the show will continue with summits, technical presentations and business matchmaking. TPCA looks forward to working with partners across the industry to reach new milestones in the AI era.
