吳理事長：PCB智慧製造新趨勢
TPCA吳永輝理事長於開幕典禮中表示：感謝各方鼎力支持與肯定，TPCA Show今年正式邁入第18屆，展望未來，人工智慧產業已進入快速成長階段，而電路板做為電子產品的整合元件，相信在這股智慧科技驅動之下，全球電子與電路板產業將持續蓬勃發展。TPCA Show也將持續扮演串連全球電路板商業與技術交流的角色，提供多元化的互動平台，以服務全球業者。
其中吳理事長提到，台灣電路板產業白皮書自2014年兩階段公布以來，台灣電路板產業已備受各界關注，同時感謝政府部會，特別是經濟部、勞動部等相關局處在過程中對產業的支持，值得一提的是今年底將成立兩大PCB智慧製造國家聯盟，分工建置PCB產業目前亟需的水平與垂直智慧製造整合系統，展現標準化的PCB設備通訊協定導入效益，未來也將持續對南向市場開發、循環經濟等議題進行推動，以穩健的腳步打造高附加價值、環保、智動化的高競爭力電路板產業。
TPCA Show另一亮點為-綠色會展上的投入，去年能源局公告TPCA Show是使用綠色電力最為大量的活動，今年除持續購買台電3萬5千度綠色清潔電力，及實施超過101項綠色展覽措施之外，更首度與行政院農委會林務局合作，進行280棵樹的造林計畫，預計今年將能有效減少碳排放量達16%以上。
Chairman Wu: New Trend of PCB Smart Manufacturing
In the opening ceremony, TPCA Chairman Rick Wu, Wong-Hui thanked the participants for supporting and recognizing the 18th TPCA Show. This show focuses on the industry trend of smart manufacturing, which has extended to artificial intelligence (AI) thanks to IoT and Big Data. In the future, AI applications will reach into fields people never imagined. Currently, the AI industry has been accelerating worldwide, leading to the significant growth of related industries. As an integral component of electronics products, both electronics and PCB industries will continue to prosper this year thanks to the smart technology trend. The TPCA Show will continuously facilitate PCB industry exchanges around the world by providing diverse platforms where businesses exchange opinions about cutting-edge technology.
Chairman Wu also indicated that Taiwan’s PCB industry has been carefully followed with considerable interest since 2014, after three years of gradual promotion of the two-phase white paper by Taiwan’s PCB industry. Support offered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Labor has been especially appreciated. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that two national alliances related to PCB smart manufacturing will be formed at the end of 2017 to establish horizontal and vertical smart manufacturing integration systems that are urgently needed in order to fulfill the benefits of the recently introduced SEMI Equipment Communication Standard. In the future, issues such as new south-bound development and circular economy will be continuously promoted to stably build a high value-added, environmentally friendly, and smart-auto PCB industry with high competitiveness. The consensus and investment of the industry are also encouraged.
Another highlight of the TPCA Show is its green exhibition. According to the statistics compiled by the Bureau of Energy last year, the TPCA Show used more green power than any other kind of energy. This year, the TPCA Show cooperated with the Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture for the first time to plant 280 trees, in addition to purchasing 35,000 kWh of green power from Taipower and implementing 101 different measures for the green exhibition, which expects to reduce its overall carbon emissions by at least 16%. The organizer of the TPCA Show has strived to implant green DNA in the PCB industry in the hopes of further contributing to environmental protection.
